I could never forget
the flame of your city.
Imaging you burning my heart
Caressing every minute.
Palestine has felled in love
and my hands have touched you.
Is it the magic of your lake
or are your eyes and passion?
Many cities I have seen,
but no one likes your fantasy.
The messengers of your history
try to tell me all your dream

فلسطين…ستصبح حرة..
Every day we tell each other
كُلّ يوم نُخبرُ بعضنا البعض
That this day will be the last
بِأَنَّ هذا اليومِ سَيَكُونُ الأخير
And tomorrow we all can go home free
وغداً كلنا يُمْكِنُ أَنْ نَذْهبَ إلى بلدنا أحرار
And all this will finally end
وكُلّ هذا سَيَنتهي أخيراً
Palestine tomorrow will be free
فلسطين ستصبح غدا حرة

No mother no father to wipe away my tears
لا أمَّاَ لا أبّاَ لمَسْح دموعِي
That’s why I won’t cry
لِهذا أنا لَنْ أَبْكي
I feel scared but I won’t show my fears
أشعر بالخوف لكن لن أظهر خوفي
I keep my head high
سأبقي رأسي شامخا
Deep in my heart, I never have any doubt…
لا يوجد أي شك في أعماق قلبي…

I saw those rockets and bombs shining in the sky
رأيت تلك الصواريخ والقنابل تلمع بالسماء
Like drops of rain in the sun’s light
مثل قطراتِ المطرِ في أشعة الشمسَ
Taking away everyone dear to my heart
أخذت كل عزيز على قلبي
Destroying my dreams in a blink of an eye
دمروا أحلامي في ومضة عين
What happened to our human rights?
ماذا حَدثَ إلى حقوقِ الإنسان؟
What happened to the sanctity of life?
ماذا حَدثتْ إلى قداسةِ الحياةِ؟
And all those other lies?
وكُلّ تلك الأكاذيبِ الأخرى؟
I know that I’m only a child
أَعْرفُ بِأَنِّي فقط طفل
But is your conscience still alive
لكن ضميرُكَ ما زالَ حيَّ
I will caress with my bare hands
أنا سَأُداعبُ بأيديي العاريةِ
Every precious grain of sand
كل حبة رمل ثمينة
Every stone and every tree
كل حجر, كل شجرة
‘Cause no matter what they do
لانهم مهما فعلوا هؤلاء
They can never hurt you
فإنهم لا يمكنهم إيذائك

لأن روحك ستكون دائما حرة

When I turned on the TV. I sow the news on many channels
And my eyes watered like pebbles of the rain
I felt upset, sorrow, sadness, and pain
I couldn’t stop crying
Because of other families and girls like me
When the buildings and houses collapsed,
I was petrified
Why they did like that for the babies, children and old people
Whoever did this is the most stupid person I have ever heard of.
